Mammals of the Verde Valley by Nanette Armstrong
While Northern Arizona Audubon Society is mainly focused on birds, we do pay attention to furry critters with 4 legs. What are they? Nanette will lead you on a tour of the Verde Valley, pointing out the mammals that live around us, enlightening you with some curious facts you may not know. 5:30 social time, 6:00 program begins. All invited.
Nanette Armstrong is a graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelors in biology. She is a retired Nuclear Medicine Technologist and pre-school teacher. She grew up on a farm in the hills of West Virginia and now lives on the banks of Oak Creek, both areas rich with wildlife. She and husband Rich have been birding together for over 30 years across North America.
Northern Arizona Audubon Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, tax-exempt charitable organization dedicated to engaging people in appreciating and protecting birds and the places they need.
