Bird with us at Sinclair Wash along the Rio de Flag! We will enjoy many of the local wintering species such as American Crow, Pygmy Nuthatch, Marsh Wren, Western Bluebird, White-crowned Sparrow, and Red-tailed Hawk. A small pond may also provide some waterbirds like Gadwall, American Wigeon, Green-winged Teal, Pied-billed Grebe, and Northern Shoveler.
We will be meeting at 8:30am on Saturday, January 25th. Please park at the Sam’s Club on E Butler Ave and S Babbit Dr. Then walk south along S Babbit Drive where we will meet in the cul-de-sac at the end of the road. This location will be easy walking with flat dirt trails. Be sure to bring sunscreen, walking shoes, a hat, binoculars, water, and wear warm layers. Weather will be cold! For any questions please reach out to Abbie Brozich at 480-519-0538
