“Rediscover Nature’s Magic: how ranchers certify their beef as ‘Grazed on Audubon-Certified Bird Friendly Land,’” by Dan Daggett. Wednesday Oct. 23, 6:00pm. Ranchers in Arizona and other western states are managing their animals, grasslands, and riparian areas in a re-natured way that benefits birds, wild animals, and plants. How? by reducing or avoiding desertification, severe erosion, and wildfire. Come on out! Dan is an engaging speaker. Cattle ranching is way more interesting than you might think. Beef snacks will be served. Sedona Public Library, 5:30 social time, program starts at 6:00pm.
