Sept. 25 meeting in Camp Verde. “Birds of Northern Arizona with a Meme Twist.”
Margaret Dyekman, local author and NAAS member, will highlight a variety of Northern Arizona species with beautiful photos plus eBird data and funny bird memes to provide you with a taste of what to expect when birding hotspots and backyards here. Northern Arizona is a goldmine when searching for a variety of raptors, waterfowl, and passerines. At elevations of 6,000 feet or more, common and unusual birds can be found above the rim around Flagstaff – just an hour’s drive from the Verde Valley.
Arizona- themed snacks served.
Camp Verde Public Library 130 Black Bridge Rd. Camp Verde, AZ. 5:00pm social time. Meeting starts at 5:30.
