Butterfly Host and Nectar Plants at Page Springs Fish Hatchery - Friday, August 2, 8:30 - 9:45 a.m.

Meet at the Monarch Waystation garden, located adjacent to the visitor center parking lot at 1600 N. Page Springs Rd., Cornville, AZ 86325 for a butterfly host plant walk and talk. Restrooms are available. Meet at the garden for a half an hour talk to learn about native butterfly host and nectar plants in the Verde Valley. If preferred, bring a chair, notebook and a pen to take notes. Afterwards, we will spend approximately an hour walking the mostly flat (there are some stairs) South Wildlife Viewing trail to look for butterflies and other native butterfly host plants not at the garden. Bring the usual: sturdy shoes, sunscreen, hat, snack, water, binoculars and cameras, if preferred. Becky Hardy will lead. Any questions, contact her at butterflygirl@bricksofknowledge.com.
