There goes an osprey! Kachina Wetlands Saturday, July 13th

  • 13 Jul 2024
  • 7:30 AM - 10:00 AM
  • Kachina Wetlands

Kachina Wetlands has abundant breeding birds in July, so don't miss this opportunity to see all the action in the grasslands, on the water, and in the air. The field trip leader is James Rounds, one of our best local birders.

Please bring binoculars if you have them, a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, and water. Although the route is gravel, it is wheelchair accessible. No bathrooms.

How to get there: From I-17, take the Kachina Village exit, immediately turn right onto Tovar Trail, and follow it one mile to the dirt parking lot at the end.

Any questions? Contact James Rounds at james.c.rounds@gmail.com
