Oak Creek Valley Community Monday March 18th, 8:40-11 AM

  • 18 Mar 2024
  • 8:40 AM - 11:00 AM
  • Oak Creek Valley Community

We will meet with a small group of students and members of the Oak Creek Valley Community. Meet at 8:40 to carpool to the OCV picnic area where a gate code is required to enter. Directions: Off of 89A, turn onto Oak Creek Valley Road. Travel 1/2 mile to a wide dirt area on the left just before the junction of Willow Point Road. From here, we will carpool. We will focus on helping the students appreciate the birds and habitat surrounding the picnic area, the river corridor and along the wooded paths. Bring binoculars, camera, water, and snacks. Wear sturdy shoes, hat, and dress according to the weather. A pit toilet is available at the picnic area. Kristen Rothrock will lead. Any questions, contact me at bkrothrock@gmail.com or text 928 634 3633
