Rockin’ River Ranch State Park – Saturday, March 9th 8:15 to 11:15 AM

  • 9 Mar 2024
  • 8:15 AM - 11:15 AM
  • Rockin' River Ranch State Park

We will stroll through Arizona’s newest State Park and listen to the resident birds - who have already begun to sing - trying for the best nesting sites before migrants arrive. (Hopefully there may be some early migrants too.) At 8:15 am, everyone will meet at the parking lot for the Copper Canyon Trailhead located here: Fs 136, Camp Verde, AZ 86322 and combine cars. This will allow those people who do not have an Arizona State Park pass to ride with others who do. Then we will carpool down Salt Mine Road to RRSP at 4513 S. Salt Mine Rd, Camp Verde, AZ 86322. Bring boots – can be muddy; wear layers - watch weather for rain; water and snack.
