The Tuzigoot River Access Cottonwood Thursday, January 18th, 9:30-11:30 AM.
Take the road toward Tuzigoot National Monument. Go over the bridge, turn right at the sign for river access and descend the road to the parking area where a pit toilet is available. We will walk about 1.5 miles along mostly flat but sometimes cobbled paths along the river banks and up a hill into a desert habitat across from Tuzigoot NP. Bring the usual: binoculars, cameras, field guides, water, snacks, hats, and dress according to weather conditions. Kristen Rothrock will lead. If you have any questions please contact me at bkrothrock@gmail.com or 928-634-3633
