Kachina Wetlands, Sunday, November 12th. 9:00-11:00am with Josh
Meet at the parking lot of wetlands. Will be walking through the main trail past the ponds then looping around the perimeter. Some benches for sitting opportunities but mostly walking while looking for birds. Hopefully we'll catch the tail end of migrating raptors (my personal favorites) and see some wintering/migrating red tail hawks, bald eagles, and American kestrels. Steller's jays, pygmy and white-breasted nuthatches, and white-crowned sparrows are likely as well. Bring the usual binoculars, snacks, cameras, water, hats, and a jacket! It is getting colder out. For any additional info please let me know at jdo89@nau.edu or 602-616-5212.
