Chuckwalla Drive, Cottonwood - Saturday, November 25th, 9-11 AM.
We will meet at the south end of Chuckwalla Drive to park. Our walk will cover about a mile along the road to observe birds living in dense mesquite and acacia vegetation. Likely birds will be Cactus Wren, Curve-billed Thrasher, Gambel's Quail, Canyon Towhee, and more. Bring water, your binoculars and resource materials. Dress according to the weather. There are no bathroom facilities. Directions: In Cottonwood, drive up Fir Street until it dead ends at Chuckwalla Drive. Turn left or south, drive and park at the end of Chuckwalla. Kristen Rothrock will lead. For any questions, text or email at 928-634-3633 or bkrothrock@gmail.com.
