Allen’s Bend Trail – Wednesday September 20th 6:25-10:45 am.  

Meet me at the Sedona Safeway Parking Lot (89a and Grounds) at 6:25 am and I can drive seven in the Bird Van. We will walk north on the Allen’s Bend Trail along Oak Creek for 0.6 miles, then east across Oak Creek which isn’t deep, but slightly slippery (I’m bringing Chacos)!  Then we will ascend the Casner Canyon Trail birding the scrub along the way. If we have the energy, we can summit, 4.5 miles round-trip. This hike is technical and rigorous, water and good shoes required. Contact Tim Weber (928) 380-0555.
