Dead Horse State Park - Friday Sept 15th, 7 - 10 am.
A reminder that this is a fee area. Meet at the parking lot on Owl Road, the first right after you enter the park. We will visit armchair birding and walk a loop that includes the Verde River riparian corridor on a mostly flat surface to look for fall migrants as well as local birds.
Bring the usual: binoculars, cameras, field guides, water, snacks, hats, and dress according to weather conditions. Kristen Rothrock will lead. If you don't have a park pass or have any questions please email or text me: bkrothrock@gmail.com or 928 634 3633.
