Weed Pull - Kachina Wetlands - Sunday, July 16th 7:00-11:00am

Here is your opportunity to "give back" to Kachina Wetlands and keep knapweed from reinvading these precious wetlands. We have two weeding events scheduled for the summer. The first one will be this Sunday, July 16th between 7 - 11 am. You are welcome to come for any length of time between those hours.

Please bring a shovel (if you have one), WATER, a hat, sunscreen, and a light-weight long-sleeved shirt. We will be providing snacks for everyone and sturdy plastic bags for the weeds.

Volunteers who arrive after 7 am can simply walk toward the green Rav4 that will be parked on one of the wetland roads. Christina Vojta, steward for Kachina Wetlands and organizer for the event, will be wearing a blue long-sleeved shirt and a straw hat.
