RESCHEDULED to April 1st
Brown Bags and Fun Facts (BB&FF). Montezuma Picnic Area - Saturday, March 25th 9:30 AM-12. What happens to all those unanswered questions that get stirred up while birding? Usually they are forgotten until the next birding adventure when the same questions arise again. Well, this is our chance to work together to find answers to our most pressing questions about birds. We'll go out for a short bird walk to see what birds and questions we can stir up. Resident birds will be singing and migrants will already be on the move. Then we'll return to the picnic area to retrieve our lunches and books from the cars. We'll have a bird book study using several field guides and other books to look up fun facts about bird behavior, etc. (If there is cell service we'll use our smart phones as a resource too.) Bring your brown bag lunch and your favorite birding field guides and other books for the study session. Binoculars, water, hat, sunscreen, layers, etc. Bathrooms are available.
