Build your Birding Skill Sanctuary Sites Conservation Counts
A "Fun Day" for all at the Sedona Wetlands Preserve on Saturday, February 25th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. NAAS partners with the City of Sedona to offer this bird Sanctuary which is a necessary stop for migrant birds and breeding ground for resident birds. Come hang out with us and learn more about this wonderful, nourishing habitat that is an outstanding Sanctuary for birds and critters of all kinds.
We will have a bio blitz, a Children's book Author, information booths, a telescope set up at the back pond viewing deck to view waterfowl, field trips around the ponds to find birds and more.
The City of Sedona will have a booth with information about the workings of this fascinating waste water treatment plant.
Join us to learn more about the many creatures whose lives depend upon this habitat!
